The Simon Smith Goalkeeping Academy is giving boys, girls and adults from the age of 8 the opportunity to train like the professionals do with a company dedicated day performance. The Academy will allow goalkeepers to learn and fine tune all the techniques to improving techniques and skills and ultimately improving match and skills you require to become a top class goalkeeper - the rest is up to you!

The Academy programme will cover the main techniques and skills of goalkeeping: goalkeeping specific warm ups, handling, footwork, diving, shot stopping, one v one, crossing, dealing with the back pass, distribution; these topics will be covered in realistic match related practices - giving you the edge when you return to your team.

Simon Smith Goalkeeping has over the last 15 years provide goalkeepers for Manchester United, Sunderland AFC, Sheffield Wednesday, Hull City and Newcastle United.
